The author
The Czech Kellog brothers, manufacturers of cardboard, founded Kazeto in 1926. They have been refining their art ever since and are now producing cardboard goods as well.

The object
The most famous cardboard object is definitely the suitcase, also used as storage and decoration, as seen in grandmother’s wardrobe. The paperboard cartons, are wrapped in a heat-sealed bag of wax paper.

By the 1800’s Libeco was a collecting point and warehouse for pure linen fabrics and Lagae Linens produced fine cambric and handkerchiefs. They are the only two weaving firms, out of dozens, still operating, in and around the town of Meulebeke. They merged in 1997.

The object
Turning flax into linen requires a labor-intensive process. Linen is crisp, clean and comfortable. Soft, yet strong and durable. Non-allergenic and recycable. Kitchen towels, table linen and more are made to measure or ready to buy.
