Since 1900 and for four generations here in Salon-de-Provence, our family has been making soap that is cooked in a cauldron totraditional Marseilles soap-making methods.

Made from vegetable oils –no colouring, no added fragrances≤ and no synthetic products– our white Marseilles soap cubes are recommended for a gentle wash on all fabrics, especially delicate ones (baby clothes, fragile fabrics...). They are also very effective on stubborn stains.

Gentle on the environment and extremely economical, they last even longer if left to dry out.

The author
In 1900, Marius Fabre started up his soap-making factory in his garden shed, in Salon-de-Provence. Today, for over 110 years and through four generations, his family tries and succeeds to keep the threatened know-how alive: making true Marseilles soap by conserving the techniques of saponification of high quality raw materials in cauldrons.

The object
The soap is made using only vegetable oils, especially olive oil. No colorants or synthetic substances are added. This exceptional purity renders it beneficial for the skin and environmental-friendly.

Usage

For washing :

Difficult stains:

Rub the stain with the cube of Marseilles soap before washing. Place the garment/item in the washing machine. Ideal for grease, difficult stains and shirt collars.

Hand washing :

A gentle wash whatever the fabric, especially for delicates (baby clothes, woollens, silk, lace, etc.). Moisten the fabric. Clean with Marseilles soap. Lather. Rinse.

For washing hands.

Can also be used for general skin cleansing care (face and body).

All orders will be delivered by our carrier partner Bpost Business, from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday and will require a signature upon receipt. You can choose to deliver your order at home or at work. Shipping costs per package for Belgium are 7,5 €. FREE SHIPPING in Belgium on orders over 100 €. The delivery time is 2 to 3 working days.

Return

Les Sagas works hard at making their customers happy and we do hope you will like our products. You have the right to return your order, provided you give us written notice within 15 days of reception of the goods, by email to webshop@lessagas.com and return the goods unused, in their original package, with all labels. For orders returned within the 15- day period, we will issue you with a refund or store credit (Shipping costs not included). Please note you will need to return the entire order to us in good condition within this 15-day period at your own expense. Information on refunds can be found in our FAQ.
